The electronic cigarette…was it given to us by the aliens? Or were they recently discovered in the lost city of Atlantis? The Electronic cigarette is the fastest growing cigarette-replacing product in the market today. It provides an alternative way of smoking without the harmful and obnoxious byproducts of the common tobacco smoke. Since electronic cigarettes or e-cigs do not use tobacco, they can be used anywhere, even no-smoking places since they give off harmless and odorless vapor. Also the e cigarette is much cheaper than regular cigarettes and in turn saves the user a lot of money in the long run. In this article we will attempt to discuss some of the models of electric cigarettes available and their refill capabilities.
Electronic cigarette starter kits include everything you need to get started in the realm of odorless vapor. After the e cigarette starter kit, you will just need to replace the refills as needed. Refills are available in packs and cost the equivalent of ten to twenty regular cigarettes. Hence, the refills of e-cigs are much cheaper and can help you to save up to seventy five percent off the cost of normal smoking.
When you draw from the mouth piece of e cigarette, a sensor and microprocessor activates the atomizer. This then injects tiny droplets of the liquid nicotine into the flowing air and vaporizes the nicotine. The nicotine is vaporized into a warm smoke like vapor and enters the body through the respiratory system as when breathing. As the e-cig is being pulled by the user, a LED light is lit at the tip of the rechargeable battery so as to give the user the feeling and flaunt of smoking. The vapor in the lungs of the e-cig smoker is then expelled into the air as with regular cigarettes only that this expelled vapor is odorless and instantaneously dissolves into the air without a trace.
This secondhand smoke emitted by e cigarette is not harmful to any bystander and gives the user the same feeling of a regular cigarette. E-cigs are thus a healthier alternative for regular cigarettes since they do not possess the four thousand poisonous chemicals that regular cigarettes possess and the secondhand vapor emitted by the e-cig is one hundred percent safe. It is the nicotine present in the e cigarette that have the same addictive properties as regular tobacco cigarettes, but in the case of e-cigs, the user can regulate the dosage of nicotine from high, to medium, to low, and even to none.
The refills of tobacco flavored cigarettes come in four strengths: high, medium, low, and none. Apart from tobacco flavored e-cig refills, they are also the four strengths in menthol and mint flavored refills. All makes and models of electronic cigarettes are capable of refills. Since the e-cig is composed of a mouthpiece, rechargeable battery, atomizer, and cartridge; all e-cigs are capable of refilling since the cartridge is the component that refills the dosage of nicotine. Without a refill, the e-cig would have to be disposable, and within the time of writing this article, using disposable e-cigs would be a waste of money and resources and therefore too costly.
E-cigs are also used the same way as nicotine patches, by getting smokers to quit smoking in a gradual step by step process. The no nicotine strength is widely used for parties, especially in the no smoking area to give the user a cool look. In conclusion, since the refill is an integral component of the e cigarette, all makes and models known at the time of this article’s publication can be refilled.
