The secret is out – electronic cigarettes are not only the best alternative to smoking but it’s also the healthiest! The total lack of all the cancer causing chemicals present in traditional cigarettes, such as tar, tobacco and carcinogens, are nowhere to be found in ecigs. Although this may be known to many, smokers that are ready to make the switch to the healthier and safer electronic cigarette may be overwhelmed not only by the many types of brands available but also by their operation and correct usage. Well, have no fear, in this entry, we will share and discuss the proper use of an e-cigarette to achieve optimal performance.
Firstly, choosing the best electronic cigarette is extremely important as various brands offer subtle but recognizable differences to the user. For the most part, those new to this product should start out with an ecig that is comprised of a two part design. Throughout our research and from the personal comments of fellow ecig user, we have found the two part design to be superior to the three part ecigs in three main ways:
- Two part design produces more smoke (water vapor) which better simulates a traditional smoking experience.
- Each refill has a built in atomizer which dramatically decreases the likelihood of damage.
- It is tremendously much more convenient.

Though it may sound technical, using the ecig is as easy as, if not easier than, using a traditional cigarette. In the two part ecig kits, normally, the first time user will need to plug the ecig into either the USB charger or the wall charger to give the battery a good charge (however, with the latest release of Disposable kits, no charging is necessary). After charging, simply screw the cartridge into the connecting battery piece and viola, you’re ready to begin e-smoking! Now, the crucial tidbit to remember is that each cartridge usually produces about 250 puffs. This means that one could get carried away puffing an electronic cigarette without realizing how much they’ve consumed. Therefore, we recommend that an initial user start out by only using their ecigs in about 8 – 10 minute periods. This will prevent the user from puffing away all day without being aware of what’s happening. It also can be of great help to those that are using the electronic cigarette as not only an alternative to smoking but as a means to quit smoking altogether. By limiting the periods in which you smoke, the user can begin to slowly wean them self off of the habit.

E-cigs are very common nowadays, It takes away almost half of the harmful chemicals in a conventional cigarette. Quitting smoking is really hard and this would make a good substitute for a cig.
