Free Trial E-Cig helps surge popularity

The electronic cigarette has just hit the market, and it is a pioneering device that allows the freedom to use a device that performs the task of traditional cigarettes including providing the same pleasure that the tobacco cigarettes do, without all of the hazardous effects. An electronic cigarette, regularly called a personal vaporizer, is a battery-powered device that supplies inhaled doses of nicotine through a vaporized solution. It can be used instead of tobacco products that must be burned, like cigarettes, cigars, or pipes. In addition to nicotine delivery, this vapor also supplies a flavor and physical feeling very similar to what you experience with inhaled tobacco smoke; however, no tobacco, smoke, or combustion is actually employed in its operation.

An electronic cigarette typically looks like an elongated tube, but quite a few of them do look like tobacco products, for example cigarettes, cigars, and pipes. A trendy design is also the “pen-style”, called that because it looks like a ballpoint pen. Most electronic cigarettes are reusable devices with replaceable and refillable compartments. A lot of disposable electronic cigarettes have also been created and placed on the market. These devices have become quite reputable because of the job they do, as they represent a safe option to smoking tobacco products. Increasing their popularity is the package offered by many companies, offering their electronic cigarette devices on free trials. The reason for this action by companies is that since the FDA is on a public campaign to damage the name of the electronic cigarette, public belief in the device needs to be regained, so they chose free trials, posing no risk to consumers.

Although the FDA is on a campaign to stain the public image of the electronic cigarette, as they are seeking to hamper the marketing of these devices, recent research done by them found that there were only a few trace elements of carcinogens in some brands. Compare that to the many greater concentrations of potentially fatal chemicals found in all well known brands of traditional cigarettes. The FDA isn’t concluding that they are a safer alternative to conventional tobacco cigarettes, but allowing the consumer draw a conclusion. Even without the free trials though, electronic cigarettes can also save users hundreds of dollars every year. Electronic cigarettes cost about seventy five percent less to operate because the equivalent amount of puffs from a regular cigarette would cost the user much more.

To sum up, the free trials offered by some companies are surging the popularity of electronic cigarettes, and countering the sway of the FDA, that is attempting to kill the electronic cigarette in its infancy.

  • It beats me why the FDA is "attempting to kill the electronic cigarette in its infancy." It makes you wonder how powerful and far reaching the tobacco companies really are. I think that the e-cigs are a great idea and hope that they become popular with smokers. There should be some that are 100% safe both for the user and the second hand smoker.

  • This is exactly what the e-cig industry needed. Now the large cigarette corporations can feel legitimately threatened, as they have been bankrolling the FDA.

  • Common Smoker:

I imagine the FDA are trying to kill the electronic cigarette for the simple reason that theyd loose a hell of allota Tax if everyone switched from tobacco cigarettes to electronic.

  • C. Little:

This is the best thing ever. I have been smoking the e-cigarette for over a month. I have no intentions of ever going back to a regular cigarette. There is no smoke, no smell, no mess. The e-cigarette satisfies me completely. I feel that if the FDA was smart, they would support the e-cigarette and get rid of the nasty tobacco products. I'm sure that nicotine isn't good for you, but the e-cigarette has to be alot better than inhaling smoke, tar, and carcinogens.
