The electronic cigarette is relatively new and so they are still many misconceptions about it. This article hopes to clear some of these up. What makes it preferable to the regular cigarette, cigar or pipe? Keep reading to find out.
First of all many of the risks involved with smoking the regular cigarette is eliminated when you use the electronic cigarette. For example, we all know that one of the main ingredients in the conventional cigarette is tobacco. Well some would be pleased to know that there is no actual tobacco in the electronic cigarette; just tobacco flavored vapor. A key word in the last sentence is vapor. Yes, the electronic cigarette uses vapor instead of smoke. The smoke inhaled from a regular cigarette is in itself very dangerous because of the process involved in producing it. It is a combustion process, and when you consider the amount of dangerous chemicals found in tobacco, the resultant smoke is, to put it simply, lethal. The electronic cigarette vapor on the other hand works more by a condensation process, where a liquid nicotine solution is vaporized – which is far less unhealthy.
Another advantage is that the nicotine levels in an electronic cigarette can be adjusted whereas it cannot be changed in a regular cigarette. Because of this, the electronic cigarette can be used as a smoking cessation aid in that, the level of nicotine used can be gradually decreased with time. This is done with the view of ‘weaning’ yourself off of the addictive nicotine, much as you would with a patch, by gradually decreasing your intake, which should in turn gradually diminish your craving for smoking.
Smoking and electronic cigarette is also deemed to be cheaper over the long run. Sure one electronic cigarette costs more than the regular one, but consider how many regular cigarettes you would have to buy in the time it takes for one electronic cigarette cartridge to need replacement. Compare prices and you should find that the regular cigarettes will cost considerably more. The electronic cigarette also does not stain your teeth and does not leave odors. These are both drawbacks of the regular cigarette.
There is a lot more to the electronic cigarette than the aforementioned, but the advantages outline above should serve to clear up some queries.

I am a retired person, considering to try the Electronic Cigarette first trying to quit for my health or simple becuase I can't afford the prices for regular cigarettes.
I'm a little exceptical regarding the Electronic Cigarette, since it is a new experience I would like to read some comments from people who are using the Electronic Cigarette and they experience, results and overall satisfaction or disatisfaction.
Please any one make some comments for me to decide what to do ?
For example: how much they expend a month, if it is easy to use it, what is the equivalent of 1 pack of regular cigarette, taste etc, etc.
